We SMASHED it this year with a record amount raised from table sales, silent auction and raffle tickets. In attendance at our magically transformed gym (inspiration and effort thanks to Fiona and Tania Manly P&C) were 200+ parents/carers/friends and family of parents who donned enough sparkles, sequins and glitter to rival the Queen of the Desert.
A booming Razzle Dazzle Trivia host and an Elvis impersonator (Ben) held us captive with the most random trivia questions and games. It was apparent very early on that the parents of Manly’s whiz kids were serious competitors as they battled it out for the grand Trivia prize whilst some of us were really after the Dairy Milk chocolate bar the size of a boogie board.
Special Thank You to the Manly P&C members and volunteers who have dedicated their every spare minute of the day whilst juggling commitments to meeting, planning, organising, turning up to help, generating ideas, sourcing prizes, providing tech support, communications, purchasing, transforming the gym, liaising with the school management, and so many more little tasks that get done in the background that often is unseen.
